This wonderful set avoided the trash in extremis. Despite the years, the condition is quite good, and the restoration has been relatively light. 
The drive mechanism for the tuner dial is also unique. The cabinet and dial required no more than routine cleaning and polishing. I replaced some bad dial lamps. After having cleaned out the interior, I supplied 220 volts and the loudspeaker produced a very strong sound on many spots of the dial on both bands.
